The Golliwogg character is a cute little guy whom many people do not understand. He derives from an 1895 English children's book: "The Adventures of Two Dutch Dolls and a Golliwogg". Written by Bertha Upton and illustrated by her daughter Florence, the book was wildly popular.
The books were filled with brilliant stories and adorable drawings.
The Golliwogg Dolls that I create are loosely based on these story book illustrations.
